Advertising
Since I have talked about Google AdSense earlier, I will now explain the other side of this process of online advertising and how you can use it to your advantage to spread your website name. First, you will have to set up your Google AdWords account. To do this, start by going to the Google Adwords homepage. Then, you will click Get Started and then click Get Started Now. After doing this, you will need to provide your email address, the name of your website, and you will be able choose whether or not you would like Google to send you tips about using Google AdWords.
You will then need to enter your Google account information as you have most likely already set up. Next, Google will require your cell phone number which will help keep your account secure by texting you a verification code that you will have to type in. After this, you will start your first campaign. You will then need to set a budget of the money you are willing to spend per day, include some of the details of the audience you wish to target (demographics, keywords you want to trigger your ad, and what types of networks on which you would like your ads to appear), choose whether you would like to manually or automatically set your bids (I suggest allowing Google to automatically set your bids for you at first), and finally writing your advertisement.
After doing this, you will need to write what your ad will say. This will include writing a headline, your ad text, and entering in your website domain. You will then fill in you payment information and make sure everything is correct. After this has been setup, if you chose to allow Google to automatically bid for you, then all you will have to do is wait. I am not sure how this method works; however, I think that the only reason to spend money on AdWords to advertise your site is if you are considering making your website one of your main sources of income. One of the best ways to start out doing advertising for your website is described in the Social Media page.
